Weblogs Inc. to launch personal finance blog

Big news in personal finance blogs, with the revelation (via Micro Persuasion) that Weblogs Inc. (home of Engadget and many others) is going to launch their own personal finance blog.

What impact do think this will have on the pf blog world? I believe most pf blogs’ popularity come from their personal feel. Will the WIN blog have a similar angle, or will it just be about financial products? Either way, I Can’t wait to find out.

    My prediction is that it will be about products and news, based on Weblogs, Inc.’s other blogs… But we shall see…

    Yeah, you’re right, that’s the model, so they’re probably not going to be changing it.
