Comparisons are finally here!
This morning we launched the comparison feature. This new feature allows all registered users to see how your net worth compares to all NetworthIQ users as well as each of the demographic areas (age, income, occupation, education). Just click the “Comparison Report” link in the top menu bar to get your customized report.
Check it out and let us know what you think. If you haven’t signed up yet, this is a great reason to do so. The comparison report gives you a much more in depth comparison than you can get browsing public profiles.

Here’s a sexy idea.
Create a small module that bloggers can put on their website. It would just be a chunk of code that would show their net worth and it would link back to their full profile on networthIQ.
Make it fit nicely along the nav area of the blog so that they could just cut and paste the code. It prob wouldn’t be very hard to spit out their customized code when they are logged in to their account and just give them basic instructions on how to add it to their template.
I bet it would drive a TON more traffic to your NetworthIQ site.
Pay me later.

No, we’ll just tell you that great minds think alike.
Comments and feedback on how to make the NetworthIQ Badge (a.k.a. “the module”) are welcome and encouraged.

Do you have any plans to minimize the affects of the handful of multi-million dollar accounts that have been entered into the system? They greatly skew the averages.
I’m both amazed and skeptical that someone with 19 million would use this tool.

Yes, we do have plans to utilize the median more in the comparision report. For data sets like these that are easily skewed, the median is probably the more approriate figure. Right now, it is in the data table underneath the chart, but we’ll be adding a chart for median as well to help visualize it.
